:repuke

I drink from those hotel room glasses all the time. I thought the little tops on them meant they were sanatized.

JasonSmokes 11-29-2007 07:08 PM

that's pretty gross.. I'll be bringing my sunlight soap...

Miss Munki 11-29-2007 07:13 PM

That is nasty! It seems that it would take a lot less effort to stack them in her little cart to be put in the dishwasher, and replace them with actual clean ones.

Spunky 11-29-2007 07:14 PM

I'll be washing mine before I use them

pornask 11-29-2007 07:34 PM

We can as well lock ourselves up in a vacuum sealed container and get sent to space so we don't get in contact with bacteria... Michael Jackson was this paranoid back in a day!

V_RocKs 11-30-2007 02:06 AM

clickhappy 11-30-2007 10:10 AM

I thought they were clean. They look clean and have a little paper top on them so you think they're clean. I just told my friend this story and she said the same thing, she thought the glasses were clean too.

But, yeah... I'm never drinking out of those again in anything less than a $200/night room.

reaching_into_the_muck 11-30-2007 02:19 PM

Dude, if that bothers you then never NEVER eat in any restaurant because they are 100 times worse, even the really expensive places.

What do you think they do when a really expensive slab of meat falls on the floor? They pick it up and put it back on the grilll!

Penthouse Tony 11-30-2007 02:58 PM

sara production manager 11-30-2007 03:10 PM

While I wouldn't want to eat that steak, I fail to see how that's worse, let alone 100 times worse. At least with the meat, it's undergoing cooking, killing whatever bacteria or disease that may have gotten onto it via it hitting the floor.

I've seen the same shit myself, so I'm not saying that it doesn't happen... but having worked in restaurants for a good period of time, for every time I've seen it happen, I've seen 20-50+ things thrown away under the same circumstances.

health inspectors also have to regularly and randomly patrol kitchens (at least in FL and Cali). Not sure of Hotel rooms have the same constraints.

I love restaurants where you can see the entire kitchen
