Not going to go all into it again (do a search as it has been covered several times in past 2 months). Cigarettes have additives that are also carcinogens, however I am sure we would see much different results if marijuana was compared against pure smoked tobacco.

Also note that the US pays for negative studies and does not fund studies with positive outcomes as a general rule.

Then keep in mind many use vaporizers and even more consume marijuana, not as many legit medical users smoke it all of the time or at all.

As far as I know people don't lose weight cause of smoking cigs. In this aspect smoking cigs is better. I think smoking a cig instead of a joint is better in nearly every aspect.

Technically, they do.

At the very least, nicotine is a stimulant, which inherently speeds up the metabolism, which leads to weight loss.

I remember reading a statistic a decade or so ago (can't account for it's validity, but it sounds good) that the average pack-a-day smoker can attribute 10 pounds of weight loss a year to the habit.

When I was a cig smoker I would often use cigs to curb appetite and often did not feel like eating after smoking.

Yet I do not ever recall loosing weight while smoking marijuana, hell that is the primary reason it is prescribed to me. I smoke to get hungry and it does just that. Secondary is that it helps with spasms.

No shit, what a ignorant individual. not to mention that the second you inhale a nicotine laced ciggerette you heart beat almost doubles. Kinda like having a mini haert attack when your sucking down them man made chemicals. At least in the States, I think that this is probably due, in no small part, to the fact that the U.S. government has published information regarding marijuana that is blatantly false for over 70 years now.
