Truth is there is no one final answer since every girl is different.

Yes some girls may see it as competition - not that your anything special but they see the girl and want to take her "man" away so she then can be dominant

Another option is that she see's you with a girl and figures, "well he has to have something special for her to date him".. so she tries

Yet still another option is a no strings relationship - girls similar to guys just want to fuck and not have the baggage of a guy going emotional on them and jealous if she wants to meet other guys. Your in a relationship so your not about to start controlling her.

I think it's because when we're in a relationship we're... more confident? Lusted and Loved. Prouder? Sticking out our chests and walking with a sure step. Because SHE is back there, or ahead here - the woman who'd vouch for you, fight for you, back you and stand by you (or so we tell ourselves heh).

As a female i am NOT attracted to guys in relationship i'm just not *shrug* never went for one or even flirted i just find it rude to his GF/fiance.

Women want attention and if a guy isnt giving it to them then they will make sure they get it by flirting. I dont think it matters that you are taken, just that you arent trying to get in her pants and she feels less attractive if a guy doesnt show her attention.

Yeah, here is a little bit of recent experience..

One of my best friends (very attractive girl) came in from Spain just recently for a longer weekend, we know each other for years and the times when she would be free are long gone, so even we're really close to each I do respect she is in a relationship and we're just friends.

So I did a guide and walked out with her a little bit, we were in the office, in the bars, in the restaurants, at my place and of course we have also met a lot of females that I use to regularly bump into. It doesn't really happen because I am usually very discrete about my whatever // personal activities.

All the chicks that either know me or get to see me often were immediately like a RADAR, the ears and eyes working on 101pct. "does she? OH!" Actually, it has more to do with confidence.

When a man has a woman, he is more confident because you do not care. You have your 'piece' at home. You'll do and say things you would not normally if you were a desperado trying to dip your tip.

When you have no one, you are more desperate. You eyeball women head to toes when they introduce themselves. You try your cheesy lines, and are trying to rush to get them home so you can dip your tip in their shitter, puntang, or eyeball.
