If you JUST found out your friend for years was doing something awful..

Let's say your friend since you were 10 decided recently to cheat on his wife and you just found out about it... and his wife is really amazing - what would you do?

Persius 09-22-2008 11:17 AM

unless the wife is your sister or family member you shouldn't say shittttt

cuz im guessing you don't know the half of it.... the wife might be amazing on the outside but in the bed she might not wanna give him bj, let him doggy, be moody, no rimming etc etc the normal things.. so then he might have to cheat to get what he wants...

Exactly. What are you a fucking boyscout? Unless you're thinking that she may be a little "needy" after you tell her? :winkwink:

I learned a long time ago...for the most part...stay the fuck out of other people's relationships.:2 cents:

sicone 09-22-2008 11:20 AM

Bros before hos

but you can always let him know that you know and that its not cool, maybe if he knows its not so much of a secret his conscience will get the better of him.

Biggy 09-22-2008 11:22 AM

Agent 488 09-22-2008 11:22 AM

STAY OUT OF IT and ten feet back, this shit will only cause trouble between you and your friend if you get involved

thehand 09-22-2008 11:30 AM

I'd stay out of it.

Tempest 09-22-2008 12:17 PM

Tell your wife... she'll tell his... that way you're "safe"...

k0nr4d 09-22-2008 12:18 PM

You can't violate the man-code unless its your sister or something.

This just happened two months ago to a friend (37) who had been married 12 years. He left his wife, and three kids, for a 23 years old stripper (who has a bf). He stopped paying on the $30k in credit card debt, the house payment, has his own apartment sleeping on an air mattress, fucking his new hoe, and living at the strip club 5 nights a week.

I do what I always do....

I MIND MY OWN FUCKING BUSINESS.

:disgust

Stay out of it, mind your own business and you and your friend can carry on..

If she finds out about it she does.. thats between him and her. You're not the 3rd wheel on their relationship..

_Richard_ 09-22-2008 12:29 PM

think you have a right to explain to your friend that you don't want to be put in a situation where you'd have to lie to anyone.

gornyhuy 09-22-2008 12:31 PM

Damn it, I can't ffind the clip of Craig Kilborne in Old School where he gets busted in the bathroom by Luke Anderson and goes off about the rules.

BV 09-22-2008 12:32 PM

what makes her so amazing? does she shit Krugerrands or something?

baddog 09-22-2008 12:33 PM

You can not win by getting involved, I assure you.

kane 09-22-2008 12:33 PM

I wouldn't tell her, but I would talk to my friend and tell him that he needs to end it with his wife. it isn't fair to her (although like people in here have said you don't know what else could be going on in their marriage) and if he keeps it up it is just going to make thing even uglier when they do divorce.

Agent 488 09-22-2008 12:38 PM

no offense - but if a guy was willing to stab his friend in the back like that i would suspect he has some feelings for his wife.

Ask him if you can slam his wife. That's obviously your intention (judging by your wife is amazing comment) and he prolly won't mind anyway. Hell, this could become the regular. Maybe you'll open her up and fix their marriage. At the very least, you'll be getting some.

On the bright side, you get to keep a friend.

Question: Would you really dog your friend just because you think his wife is hot? Yikes.

Scott McD 09-22-2008 12:53 PM

If you have to, mention it to him, and see what he says.

Other than that, just leave it to them to deal with it...

agreed. :2 cents:

JamesK 09-22-2008 12:57 PM

If you don't like it, talk to him about it and tell him how you feel. But anyone who rats out a (real) friend is a fucking douche. If it happened to me, no matter what I did, I would never talk to my "friend" again.

yep.. personal experience here... You get to maintain the "bro" code.. you have to tell your wife since you're supposed to be completely open with her about everything... She has to adhere to the "sis" code and out the bastard... You can then play the wounded friend because you trusted your wife and she turned on you... and you spend your time appologizing profusely to him... It's a win win.. your wife loves you cause you were so honest and open with her and since you didn't rat him out you can maintain your friendship.. well actually not.. once they seperate your wife will make your life a living hell if you continue to associate with the "dog"..

No win situation. No right answer. Friend will hate you if you do. Wife will hate you if you didn't tell her since your knowing makes you an accomplice of sorts.

Best you can do is tell your friend that he is fucked for putting you in that position.

Big Red Machine 09-22-2008 01:49 PM

The only reason the friend would tell his buddy he was cheating was cause he trusted him. Now a man that betrays his friends trust just to add another divorce to the books. You can show me the hottest chick and if you talk to her boyfriend he's probably sick of fucking her. Marriage isn't natural

Bojangles 09-22-2008 02:05 PM

I would mind my own business.

SilentKnight 09-22-2008 02:58 PM

I already have enough on my plate to worry about other people's business.

Let'em deal with their own affairs, I say.

Manowar 09-22-2008 02:59 PM

I would always stay out of it
