With the Greco Roman clinch, or dirty boxing? Randy will negate any of Lesnar's shots, as Randy has an excellent sprawl.

I'm really looking forward to that fight. Likely more than any other MMA fight to date.

Randy is a natural light heavy though who was fighting middle of the wieght class heavies. Lesnar cuts 20 to 30 pounds just to make heavy weight. Both are awesome wrestlers.. but Lesnar has all the advantages in this fight.. technique only takes you so far.

I think if Randy can take it into the 3rd round or later, he's got it in the bag.

If he can survive and tire Brock out in the first couple of rounds, experience and conditioning will come into play.

I disagree, and I'm sure you'll find alot of those who train to fight will also disagree. Technique is the winning factor. Randy took Tim Sylvia down and outboxed one of the most dominant Heavyweights in UFC history. He won, with superior technique against a man who outweighted him by 40lbs.

Lesnar is still green. His fight record is an absolute joke. There is a HUGE difference between being a DIV 1 Wrestler, and an Olympic Wrestler. HUGE. Now, let's get past that. Greco Roman wrestling is better suited to MMA vs Free Style. Free Style Wrestling Shots can be negated by a good sprawl. Pummeling on the other hand, is a different beast in the Greco Roman world. If I'm loosing you here, look this up on google.

Lesnar will try for the single and double leg shot. Couture will negate it with the sprawl. I don't think Lesnar can stop Couture's clinch work, and that will be the deciding factor.

Technique wins fights, and with all things considered physically, the one with the superior technique will win.

That's my break down, and the great thing about MMA, is that any little factor can change a fight, and I am really looking forward to this fight, to watch Handy put Frate Trane on his ass and show him the chump that he is.

- their not that different in terms of wrestling skill
- all differences will be made up for due to brocks size
- as long as brock plays conservative and doesn't get knocked the fuck out he'll win via decision.

Brock Lesnar - Collegiate Div 1 Wrestler

I love Couture and all, and Im sure hes still feeling young with the benefits of growth hormones and all but I dont see Couture beating Lesnar with dirty boxing because he hasnt faced anyone near as strong as this guy, and please dont mention Silva. Lesnars record of course is comparable to Kimbos but he has a shit load of speed and strength which will be hard to contend with. Its not like Lesnar meeting Mir who is top of the line with submissions, which couture is not. Randy needs to get him in the later rounds hoping he gasses or that he makes a newbie mistake.
