No but from now on, only let somebody do the transfer that you know from the boards atleast. I did a quick search and personally, I wouldn't trust somebody who has only posted a few times and when they did, they were selling stuff and offering cheap stuff. The guy was selling something for $3.00? lol 500 to him is probably a big sum.

People definitely need to be a little more smart about these things. Trusting people is okay but they got to atleast have a reputation at stake.

Yeah, good point, the scammer may have just found a random GFY nick and used his sites as the front. Just seems weird that he'd pick a gfy nick with a few posts and a no name site.

Being a poster on GFY brings "cred" new or old. It worked here in this situation.

If they said someone with an older name and that was around a long time there is a strong chance Lia may know them, and have them on the list.
