Fucking Epassporte
 

Was just at this bar and my fucking card was declined. Said "Auth Down" or some shit like that.

I just called support and couldn't understand one word the bitch said so I just hung up. hahahah unbelievable.

People really try to pay with epass at a bar/restaurant?

i only use the card to withdraw money, i would not dare to try it for actually paying something - lol

I have done that hundreds of times with no problem....

In admin its saying account cards cannot be used at present due to maintainance going on etc....guess that was the reason :(

i had problem too now, at the ATM...

I just logged into epass and it says this

Maybe this is why your card got declined

Yes probably i mean how you will withdraw money if amount is 0 dollars at the moment.

how can a regular bank visa never have decline downtime for maintenance?

Me to supermarkets...stores and virtual visa for online..never a problem.

As I mentioned they are currently just upgrading/updating thier system....guess a pre warning though would have been cool for those currently out and about using thier cards.

You cannot compare bank and epassporte which is just service for virtual money.

Yeah, was just at the video store and mine was declined. Figured it was because of some processors in Canada turning down "international" Visa and other credit cards due to fraud... anyhow, so I log in and all the text at epass is in red and my account balance is unavailable due to maintenance blabla...

Hey, it happens, just not that often for me to care except the timing sucked lol.

So I found I had real money in my pocket and I used it... so weird.

Ya I never had problems with them before but this just pissed me off. I looked in my pocket like u and I only had like 35 cents :) No wallet or license. Just my epass card.

yeah they said its their regular 2 month thing they do. why do it in the middle of the day. I guess it has to be in the middle of the day somewhere, but still this is BS.

I've paid with ePass card in restaurants, supermarkets, museums, ticket counters, and never had a problem :)

were you drunk when trying to use the card? or were you drunk when posting this? Because I find the title of your posting very aggresive (Fucking Epass) unless you have had the same experience in different ocassions, but if its your first time it's not enough for making such a drama, cmon, we know it sometimes can fail.... But if this is a recurring problem then I see your anger, especially if you were paying booze for a chick! :upsidedow

That would be like using a PayPal debit card to pay for drinks.... yikes.

I only use that card at atms.

online for example it never works, both the physical card and the "virtual" card are declined every time.

at restaurants/shops it's 50/50 chance of working

and why would that be a big deal either?
I often use my paypal debit card to pay for stuff also

I'm currently trying to get an ePass, when I upload all of my stuff can I withdraw my money straight to a Credit/Debit mastercard?

I don't think the credit card stuff is working right now.

You can withdraw money to a checking account for a $3 fee, it takes a couple days tho.

The fee to withdraw money at an atm is only $2, but the card is $35 a year.

He is mad coz the girl he had with him had to pay haha.

I have $20 missing from my epass when their maintance happend

I got burned a couple of times when using my epass for purchases (both the declined and double charge that sticks around for 30 days issues)... I now stick to withdrawing cash from an ATM. epass's systems are nowhere near as reliable as a bank.

I assume the credit card stuff not working is only temp? I plan to have my ePass account on Wednesday, but I want to know if I will be able to withdraw straight to my MasterCard Debit Card.
