whatif someone didn't make their payments for 5 months - and you made them for them - sacrificing even medical drugs for your family - and their contract expired at 3 months - and they didn't even say thank you?
what if you even offered that person $36,000 - MY investment - and they turned it down demanding all their money back on a real estate deal in a market where no one was buying anything?

Yes but, I don't think it's just a "someone" in this case, you guys were good friends, from my recollection, and real friendship means sticking with your friend.

I don't think for a minute that Scott, intended to lose your investment and I'm pretty sure, that once he gets back on his feet, he will give you back your investment, probably with interest.
