The dumbing down of America started when hippies and modern liberalism came into existence, and is hitting its apex with Obama, Pelosi, and the whole borderline retarded administration.

Not to mention, I'm wondering what's stupid about that picture? Because with government run health care, we ARE going to have European type socialism.

Furthermore, I stated that if we get universal health care, we would have European socialism to a certain extent, which is 100% fact. And the public option is out for now, but if Pelosi gets this retarded bill that nobody has read into play, they're eventually going to add the public option. Then again, I can't for the life of me wonder why you would support the health care bill if there's no public option. Logic and your lack of intelligence states that you don't know what else is in there.

Although the majority of the best parts of the bill won't go into affect until 4 years after passage... I support the bill because it establishes an exchange where I can buy insurance from a pool rather than as an individual which will drop the rates I am paying by a considerable amount. In addition, it outlaws insurance companies from dropping children for pre-existing conditions immediately and establishes rules by which companies will have to follow in order to legally raise their rates. There are many other parts of the bill that I support but I don't think it goes far enough...

I have a 152 IQ for your information... so I think my intelligence level is more than sufficient to understand the facts... speaking of those... what exactly do you define the public option as being? I am just curious about what you think it is.

It's okay to rack up a national debt of over 30k for every man, woman and child to fight an imaginary evil in Iraq, but not a single dollar to help their fellow citizens. God forbid they invest in a modern health care system that might help the economy and as well as the population.

we already have government run health care for the poor & the elderly. its amazing when people talk like government run health care doesnt exist, or is on the way. its already here. from what i can tell, the old people like their government run health care, so much so republicans are opposing cuts to medicare being proposed by the dems. Nobody said the War in Iraq was ok. And if Obama didn't start his astronomical deficit spending, health care reform might have been possible. But it's unsustainable. Simple as that. And I love the typical liberal argument based on emotion, nothing else.

The only problem with that is, the premiums will skyrocket and I don't want that. I'm against a single payer system, and I sure as hell am against the government taking over the health care industry. I think whats more important that the WH is trying to get this healthcare bill thru without the proper votes and doesn't care, as long as they get it thru. And if people REALLY want to look at polls as evidence, the American public does NOT want Obamacare. This much has become clear. The other thing that has become clear is how incompetent and delusional Nancy Pelosi is, and how out of touch the entire Democratic party is with the American people. Like I said, they had their chance when Obama came into office, to completely destroy the Republican party. The House Democrats - and most shamelessly 87 "progressive Democrats" who are co-sponsors of the single payer legislation in the House - are now lining up behind the pro-insurance industry Baucus-backed Senate bill.

A Senate bill those "progressive Democrats" vowed never to support.

A bill that - as Dr. Angell told Bill Moyers last week - cements the private insurance in place as "the lynchpin of health care reform."

Very interesting, I rather enjoy the propaganda.. I'm not too worried though. Pelosi has already committed political suicide and I suspect many of the other Democrats won't follow suit and as such, they won't be able to pass this bill, even through "deem and pass." Then come November, a few of those Democrats might hold on to their positions, if they're lucky. The Democratic party as a whole has gone above and beyond political suicide in my opinion though, to the point where some of these Democrats are starting to distance themselves from Pelosi and Obama.

Then why do you care, Demon? Let them pass it and be voted out. Done and done.
