The dumbing down of America started when hippies and modern liberalism came into existence, and is hitting its apex with Obama, Pelosi, and the whole borderline retarded administration.

Not to mention, I'm wondering what's stupid about that picture? Because with government run health care, we ARE going to have European type socialism.

J. Falcon 03-16-2010 12:17 PM

These people are beyond stupid and probably have no idea what socialism even means. They believe everything they hear on FOX news, so you can't expect them to think for themselves.

Haha as opposed to the morons who allow CNN or MSNBC to do the thinking for them? And I'm pretty sure they know what socialism means, which is theoretically what we're going to have with universal health care and the expansion of government. I'm not sure YOU know what it means.

I bet most of them think that socialism is against democracy so it's bad. Poor little idiots :)

Uhh... maybe one of these days you will actually learn to read something and learn from the words. There is no "Universal Health Care" bill being proposed. Why don't you go back to playing WoW and let the grown folks discuss the facts while you continue to focus on fantasy. :thumbsup

That's funny, when the grown folks are discussing facts, you're either nowhere to be found, or getting your ass handed to you while you bitch and moan.

Furthermore, I stated that if we get universal health care, we would have European socialism to a certain extent, which is 100% fact. And the public option is out for now, but if Pelosi gets this retarded bill that nobody has read into play, they're eventually going to add the public option. Then again, I can't for the life of me wonder why you would support the health care bill if there's no public option. Logic and your lack of intelligence states that you don't know what else is in there.

Although the majority of the best parts of the bill won't go into affect until 4 years after passage... I support the bill because it establishes an exchange where I can buy insurance from a pool rather than as an individual which will drop the rates I am paying by a considerable amount. In addition, it outlaws insurance companies from dropping children for pre-existing conditions immediately and establishes rules by which companies will have to follow in order to legally raise their rates. There are many other parts of the bill that I support but I don't think it goes far enough...

I have a 152 IQ for your information... so I think my intelligence level is more than sufficient to understand the facts... speaking of those... what exactly do you define the public option as being? I am just curious about what you think it is.

J. Falcon 03-16-2010 12:36 PM

It's okay to rack up a national debt of over 30k for every man, woman and child to fight an imaginary evil in Iraq, but not a single dollar to help their fellow citizens. God forbid they invest in a modern health care system that might help the economy and as well as the population.

Is that another ASSumption of yours? Just like the one you had about Texas having a great educational system when their own website says it sucks?

Joshua G 03-16-2010 12:37 PM

we already have government run health care for the poor & the elderly. its amazing when people talk like government run health care doesnt exist, or is on the way. its already here. from what i can tell, the old people like their government run health care, so much so republicans are opposing cuts to medicare being proposed by the dems. LOL.

From what I hear so called conservatives talking about on tv or read about on their blogs... the truth rarely has anything to do with it. :2 cents:

Nobody said the War in Iraq was ok. And if Obama didn't start his astronomical deficit spending, health care reform might have been possible. But it's unsustainable. Simple as that. And I love the typical liberal argument based on emotion, nothing else.

I highly doubt you have a 152 IQ but we're all allowed to dream. I'm for getting rid of the pre-existing condition clause. The only problem with that is, the premiums will skyrocket and I don't want that. I'm against a single payer system, and I sure as hell am against the government taking over the health care industry. I'm for small government. It's funny how people can't take personal responsibility, fuck up the economy with their reckless spending, and then expect the government to bail them out.

By your response I can tell you that you don't know anything about the bill except the talking points you have been hearing from whoever you are listening to.

As far as spending goes... which had more spending? The current administration and the dem controlled congress or the previous administration and the gop controlled congress?

lol @ government takeover.

Perhaps the most foolish tag line the 'pubes ever used.

Y'all prefer a cash incentivised insurance worker to remain between you and your doctor instead of nobody. Oh yeah, watch out dems! You may be voted out if this passes! lmfao.

What's ironic is this is exactly what I expected you would say next. You see, as someone who doesn't have much knowledge about current events, I suspect you have sort of like a mental script going into real debates, and you're using it now. Because you were sincere in this post, then your powers of inference would be beyond mankind. I have no idea how you could logically conclude from my post that I know nothing about the bill, so I'll call bullshit.

How many graphs should I provide you with? Every month we hit a record for budget deficits. The deficit spending of the Obama Administration has been nothing short of astronomical. Also

Just like a liberal Democrat. Can't take any personal responsibility, it's always someone else's fault. Thanks for being predictable.

I think whats more important that the WH is trying to get this healthcare bill thru without the proper votes and doesn't care, as long as they get it thru. And spare me the BS about how the GOP did it. That doesn't make it right, now that the government is going to take over 1/6 of the economy. Even the Tea Party can figure out that is wrong, can you?

I've taken an IQ test 3 times and I don't believe it's that high,

Shh it's only wrong when the Republicans do it! This has never happened before in regards to such a huge issue. And if people REALLY want to look at polls as evidence, the American public does NOT want Obamacare. This much has become clear. The other thing that has become clear is how incompetent and delusional Nancy Pelosi is, and how out of touch the entire Democratic party is with the American people. Like I said, they had their chance when Obama came into office, to completely destroy the Republican party. They dropped the ball like I never thought was possible, and they'll be destroyed come November.

It's funny, I always criticized W for his policies but I never realized how much I would miss him until the Democrats started controlling everything.

Vendzilla 03-16-2010 01:27 PM

Whats funny is that the USSR adopted socialist veiws on many things

The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) was a constitutionally socialist state that existed in Eurasia from 1922 to 1991

The Truth
Last May, Single Payer Action - along with a group of doctors and nurses - confronted Senator Max Baucus (D-Montana) at a public hearing of the insurance industry-controlled Senate Finance Committee.

Baucus had scheduled 42 people to testify over three days of hearings.

Not one favored single payer.

Single Payer Action demanded - allow one person to testify on behalf of single payer.

Baucus refused.

Instead, Baucus ordered the arrest of 13 doctors, nurses, and other single payer activists.

Ever since Single Payer Action has been confronting members of Congress - agitating, and pressuring the system at all levels to do the right thing.

To adopt single payer national health insurance.

What Dr. Marcia Angell - former editor of the New England Journal of Medicine - calls the only health care system that will both control costs and cover everyone.

Fast forward ten months.

And what do we find?

The House Democrats - and most shamelessly 87 "progressive Democrats" who are co-sponsors of the single payer legislation in the House - are now lining up behind the pro-insurance industry Baucus-backed Senate bill.

A Senate bill those "progressive Democrats" vowed never to support.

A bill that - as Dr. Angell told Bill Moyers last week - cements the private insurance in place as "the lynchpin of health care reform."

Single Payer NOW

The Demon 03-16-2010 01:36 PM

Very interesting, I rather enjoy the propaganda.. I'm not too worried though. Pelosi has already committed political suicide and I suspect many of the other Democrats won't follow suit and as such, they won't be able to pass this bill, even through "deem and pass." Then come November, a few of those Democrats might hold on to their positions, if they're lucky. The Democratic party as a whole has gone above and beyond political suicide in my opinion though, to the point where some of these Democrats are starting to distance themselves from Pelosi and Obama.

Tom_PM 03-16-2010 01:38 PM

Then why do you care, Demon? Let them pass it and be voted out. Done and done.
