16,000 new IRS agents?

OK, so the healthcare bill is going to pass, everyone got their sweetheart deal and the country is getting fucked and the left thinks this is what we need, even though the majority of people polled don't want it and it may not be constitutional and the states are going to sue the government.
But now that the bill is public, they're finding out just how fucked up this bill is

How do you feel about 16,000 new IRS agents? Thats what it's going to take to collect all the taxes and make sure you are either paying an extra tax or buying healthcare insurance from a approved by the government healthcare provider.

***Highlights of New IRS Authority***
IRS agents verify if you have ?acceptable? health care
coverage
IRS has the authority to fine you up to $2,250 or 2 percent
of your income (whichever is greater) for failure to prove
that you have purchased ?minimum essential coverage?
IRS can confiscate your tax refund
IRS audits are likely to increase
IRS will need up to $10 billion to administer the new health
care program this decade
IRS may need to hire as many as 16,500 additional
auditors, agents and other employees to investigate and
collect billions in new taxes from Americans
Nearly half of all these new individual mandate taxes will
be paid by Americans earning less than 300 percent of
poverty ($66,150 for a family of four)
***SPECIAL EXEMPTION***
Democrats prohibit the IRS from imposing these taxes and
penalties on illegal immigrants

thats quite a system they have planned.
health care is pretty simple in most countries...

fatfoo 03-21-2010 06:48 PM

Good luck taxing the thiefs who walk around at night and sell fake concert tickets. Who's going to tax them?

GAMEFINEST 03-21-2010 06:53 PM

some bullshit shit

fatfoo 03-21-2010 06:54 PM

16,000 new agents. That is a huge amount of new agents. Could it be that the United States has a problem with taxing everyone?

I read some textbooks about the Canadian economy, and the textbooks say that the estimated underground profits that go unreported for taxation are 30%. Who knows? Maybe these estimates are too low, even.

I ask my wife weekly if we can move to Japan in her parents house, but since I don't speak the language she does not want to take the burden of doing everything for me. Instead we are going to end up buying a home here and start a family...and have to deal with all this new bs that will sink this country. Maybe it is just the state I live in but it seems they always take more money from us...

Oh the irony!...

The Health care system in Japan is one of the best in the world. Japan provides healthcare services, including screening examinations for particular diseases at no direct cost to the patient, prenatal care, and infectious disease control, are provided by national and local governments. Payment for personal medical services is offered through a universal health care insurance system that provides relative equality of access, with fees set by a government committee. People without insurance through employers can participate in a national health insurance program administered by local governments. Patients are free to select physicians or facilities of their choice and cannot be denied coverage. Hospitals, by law, must be run as non-profit and managed by physicians. For profit corporations are not allowed to own or operate hospitals. It is compulsory to be enrolled in one of Japanese insurance programs if you are a resident of Japan

Yep, why the fuck do we need IRS agents investigating whether you're buying insurance or not? Now the insurers will have even more customers since everyone is going to need to buy insurance. Nice way to blow the entire medical insurance industry.

Thurbs 03-21-2010 07:56 PM

national sales tax ... 12% ..

would not only keep it legit and fair, but also worst case scenario by not spending money, people save more and get out of debt then can spend more :)

exactly a system that works and took years to improve, you don't need a referral to see a specialist, or a crowded doctors office, or that smaller room you wait in before the doctor sees you, and with the HMO's now...the doctor has patients in all 6 rooms...and they spend just a few minutes and bounce to the other room. Then when test results come back they see stuff that is not just perfect and give you 5 more referrals to more specialist. Oh and my doctor never gives me a prescription for the cheaper generic brands just the expensive ones that she has deals with in sales. This system in this country already sucks...and healthcare reform will only make it worse. There is just no logical reason to rush this plan into office. You think they are just going to flip a switch and everything is going to be lovely. We have a shortage of doctors and nurses now....so where the fuck are they going to find several hundred thousand overnight. Wait till that 30 million people see that big FREE HEALTHCARE SIGN that obama is waiving. Then try to even get an appointment 6 months in advance.

If this passes I am going to take classes for an X-ray tech or radiologist because this is where the jobs will be in healthcare. My wifes already an RN. :thumbsup

Gotta love how politicians can upload propaganda to House and Senate servers.

Also love how they take careful attention to footnote everything except the page with scary pronouncements.

It is also funny to read some of the footnotes; referring to letters someone wrote and such.

I've heard from different news sources about the IRS doing this, taking over the burden of collecting the massive amount of money for these new entitlements.
California is an entitlement state, that's why big business has moved out and welfare recipient's have moved in and we now have one of the highest % of unemployment. Some counties over 20%. Now this is going to happen to the whole fucking country I fear.

And stop basing what works in other countries, the US is not like any country on earth, base what has happened to entitlement states, they are the ones that don't have any money right now, like California that raised state employment taxes 10% last year

Sweet talking politician from the most corrupt political machine in the union?
And the fact when he give his speeches, he never looks into the camera, just at his teleprompters, like he can't look you in the eye because he's LYING!

there are over 20 states going to fight this on the grounds that it's unconstitutional, Idaho was the first to make the announcement, to make people buy insurance or face fines.

LiveDose 03-22-2010 12:50 PM

What the fuck did everyone expect having all these libs running the show?

This is only the beginning. We better vote some of those ass clowns out of office or amnesty is next...

38 at last count. Let's do the math 38/50= 76% of the states are filing legal shit against this bill. Good times :thumbsup

i could not find any articles that literally quote the bill as saying this. only second hand knowledge of someone "saying" it.

The Demon 03-22-2010 01:07 PM

That's because NOBODY knows what's in the bill. Both the left and the right have their bullshit interpretations of it. But that gives credit to the Democrats and their political suicide, trying to ram a bill they haven't even read.

That particular fine is for the wealthy, whom are highly unlikely to have no coverage since they can afford it.

But nice fear mongering, which has been very typical of Repukes throughout this whole thing.

I suppose you also believe in going before the death pannels?

The Demon 03-22-2010 02:22 PM

Liberals calls facts=fear mongering. Hilarious.
