Sknanb results - good news

I was one of the unfortunate few that had funds locked on the Virtual Visa card since September 2nd. I had over $6k on my virtual visa card and have been jumping through the hoops to finally get access to it. After providing my due diligence documents last Thursday October 7th, I have received a reply that my card was unblocked and would have access to my funds TODAY. In the message I received it said to wait 24 hours, which was around 3pm mountain time today. I just went to the ATM and it worked and I was also able to see my balance. Thank Fucking God this issue has finally been resolved, now to the bank 20 days in row and to never leave my money in some offshore account. Good luck to everyone that has provided their due diligence documents, hope it gets resolved for you also!!!!

Everyone is saying they learned a lesson and would never leave money in an offshore bank, but really, the offshore bank is the only ones who have stepped up to make things right.

It sucks we have to jump through their hoops but they also answer to some higher power (no not god..lol).

I'm relieved that the issue has been resolved and I will get access to my money locked on my card. I definitely had my doubts driving to the ATM to withdraw. I think when I got back in my car I said, "Fuck Yea" when pulling out of the parking lot.

Make the VV a load option to your paypal account and send a friend a lot of money to send back. I did... But with several friends....

Davy 10-15-2010 02:39 AM

I thought the Epass Visa did not work with paypal?

pinkbits 10-15-2010 03:06 AM

Good news. I am waiting for them to get back to me. I sent all papers as well.

J. Falcon 10-15-2010 03:08 AM

Glad to hear that, I'm hoping to get a similar email soon.

beta-tester 10-15-2010 03:28 AM

Good news... but honestly, the bank seems solid and it doesn't surprise me that they unblocked your card. I just don't know what's their timing when it comes to balances well over 10k and the possible wires... I guess we'll find out soon!

cemtex 10-15-2010 03:33 AM

BetChips 10-15-2010 05:50 AM

I provided notarized copy of drivers license, utility bill, and a voided check along with due diligence form and statements. I don't have a passporte and my drivers license worked. Like I said, I have over 6k in there, so its a very good sign for everyone else.

tammix 10-15-2010 05:52 AM

good im glad it worked for you, good luck everyone else!

Ross 10-15-2010 11:19 AM

Nice one. I sent my docs in on Wednesday, got confirmation they received them 24 hours later, I'll leave it in their hands now and wait to hopefully have my card unlocked by next weekend.

BetChips 10-15-2010 11:35 AM

I scrambled to get my documents in early on the 7th when I found out they needed the extra verification. I had my doubts but I feel confident now for everyone with up to 6k cause that's I had.

Paul&John 10-15-2010 11:36 AM

Congrats on getting the money back ;)

xxxRumor 10-15-2010 11:47 AM

anyone else with good news?

Eternal 10-15-2010 12:50 PM

I'm glad for you betchips, I called them and told my passport has expired and that renewing it would take me some days and they told me: "that's up to you, try to provide everything as soon as possible" so I'm waiting until monday to get my passport renewed.

I wanted to ask you: where are you located? you notarized everything and sent it without doing anything else?

I ask this because for a certified document to be valid under st. Kitts' laws it should be certified by someone able to do so (registered to st. Kitts-Nevis supreme court of justice).

Maybe they don't want/need that, but if they do I should go to the supreme court of justice here to get the certifications validated, then to the ministry of foreign relationships to validate the supreme court validation validated by them and finally to the nearest st. Kitts consulate to validate everything once more (my "nearest" ones are in antigua, trinidad & tobago or US).

I hate bureaucracy but hopefully, they just want docs notarized only in your country and not fully validated for st Kitts laws.

I will find out next week anyway, but I'm pretty curious about that.

BetChips 10-15-2010 01:01 PM

I'm in Arizona, and I got it cleared with a notarized copy of my drivers license, utility bill, voided check, and the due diligence doc. And statements. I have no passport.

pornpf69 10-15-2010 01:04 PM

at least they seem to be honest people...
