Not a conspiracy theorist, but this is too much of a coincidence !

So the TSA wants to do more upclose and personal patdowns, use the body scanners
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...tml?cmpid=2628
and everyone is up in arms about it. Then lo and behold, we get all these "bombs" on all these planes all at once.

None of them explode, the leads all point to some Saudi national orchestrating it all from Yemen. Within a day all the authorites know all about where the "bombs" came from the distribution method etc etc.

I call bullshit, I think this whole thing is all about selling the increased security, to all the sheep out there, also to foist it on the rest of us. We're from the Government, we are here to protect you.

I don't fly but I had seen a clip on the news and the "pat" down looked like it could cross the line very easily.

The problem Jules, is that not only are the masses taught to be incapable of questioning authority, but also to deride anyone who raises a voice of dissent.

It's really easy to hide behind the convenience of labeling people as tinfoil hat wearers, but when one really takes a close, objective look at the facts surrounding many questionable historical events, it's plain to see that what the evening news reports is far from the truth. :2 cents:

where does critical thinking fall in this?

Phoenix 11-01-2010 07:27 AM

how far does the rabbit hole go....and who is steering the ship?

Maxi 11-01-2010 07:28 AM

No shit..

Anything involving Al-queda or Osama bin Ladin is bullshit and is actually the work of a government agency.

Because there is no Al-queda, and Osama bin Ladin has been dead for around 7 years now.

Sly 11-01-2010 07:28 AM

The new "threats" were first reported by the Saudi government. That would make for one hell of a conspiracy.

If it was a conspiracy... wouldn't they have made it a little more telling? Perhaps bomb making material strapped to some dudes cock that got busted while rolling through the scanners.

At least with 9/11 there was a big boom, this theory is pretty weak. It did nothing.

I'm not sure I follow your question exactly. What I meant was that when you look at events and the actual facts (not just what the news reports), things often simply do not add up. Critical thinking is crucial here because if exercised, major holes in the stories we're told will appear.

VikingMan 11-01-2010 07:32 AM

Another painfully obvious false flag operation. The masses are so freaking dumb now that hardly any thought seems to go in to planning these false flags anymore.

BlackCrayon 11-01-2010 07:32 AM

i love how the news was telling us all how evil of a country yemen is almost like they are preparing us to generate hate so the masses won't mind when we start bombing them.

MetaMan 11-01-2010 07:34 AM

LOL please tell me you just arent starting to understand this?

Why on earth as a terrorist would you even try to blow yourself up on a plane?

Why wouldnt you do it in the backed up security line where more people are? and where you dont need to go through security? these guys can pull an international bomb plot but cant realize this?

Anyone who truly believes that some brown guys in a cave are plotting terror on america is a complete idiot. the only "terror" these guys cause is trying to protect the west from taking over their countries. which would make the coalition the terrorists.

Anyone outside the USA has seen what has been going on for years now.

Americans are so brainwashed and controlled by Israel is it not even funny.

I haven't had any issues so far but I promise, if I get pulled aside for a pat down, I'm moaning like I like it.

simply because things on the news don't add up doesn't mean a story that doesn't add up is a conspiracy. we live in a complex system full of flaws. the fact is one of those flaws is the media.

No, you're absolutely right in that regard, and that is not a logical basis from which to assume conspiracy, in and of itself.

What I look at are cases such as the "plane crashing" into the Pentagon. When ----O---- is the shape of the front of a jet (you like my awesome graphical depiction there?) and you get this tiny little 10 foot wide hole in the building, that's just ridiculous. They failed to retrieve one single piece of airplane from that crash, and no black box. Never in the history of modern commercial aviation has a wreck failed to produce rubble, except when the plane crashed in the sea in water too deep to affordably go chasing after it.

Or, take Building 7. Why did it collapse? Out of sheer astonishment at watching the other two go down? Nothing hit it! There is no conceivable reason except deliberate demolition that it would collapse, especially in the same morning as the other two building on 9/11.

I'm not saying I have all the answers here, by any means. I'm not even saying that it's not possible that there could be a non-conspiratorial explanation, but from what any smart person can make of what we DO know, these two example events did NOT play out the way we were told to believe.

CDSmith 11-01-2010 08:22 AM

You know, that does all sound pretty convenient and fishy.

Thanks Jules, now you've got me doing it. :D

well, we disagree on 9/11 and that's cool. because the simple fact of the matter, physics aside, is neither of us know.

not sure which news source that was but it's been reported via dozens of news agencies that the device contained pentaerythritol tetranitrate.

Someone chopping a pic of John F. Kennedy saying: "It's a conspiracy! I know from seeing a lot of conspiracies in my time." would be priceless right about now.

Seriously though, I believe you're right.

The bombs are not what made me angry...

At 3 AM when I couldn't sleep I tuned the DVR to the episode of Oprah where her and Gayle go camping at Yositime. It was interrupted by a press conference about the bombs.

I was so angry that they ruined my lesbian camping experience. There needs to be a law about 4 PM press conferences. When is Obama going to do something for ME?
