XP pro on all 4 boxes as it is rock solid for me and has been for years.

Need to buy a new laptop after Xmas and I probably will take the dive and leave 7 on it. Not looking forward to the tweaks necessary for some hardware such as my home automation, security system, scanner and recording software and my weather station.

andrej_NDC 11-07-2010 12:18 PM

bl4h 11-07-2010 01:21 PM

on this particular laptop...vista. but I have win7 on my desktop.

I like vista better because its more informative it seems.

If you're somewhat girly, own a shamwow and/or make myspace profiles for a living then win7 may fit you better

see sig for further details

Windows 7 (64 bit) on two machines with a 3rd machine still on Vista (64 bit).
The latter will soon be replaced by Windows 7.
Best OS from MS to date in my opinion.
