"Release Hero": automatization for free
 

Hi everyone,

I want to introduce my free opensourced software for multimedia files handling automatization and posting: "Release Hero" script. Site of the project: hero.cd

First of all, this software is for processing multimedia in bulk. For mass-cropping, cutting, watermarking, renaming, archiving etc. Hovewer it is also perfect to filling your sites on autopilot.

"Release Hero" functionality is built as bunch of modules for simple script customization and changing for own needs. There are 21 standart modules included currently, but the script is just on start and there will be more definetly.

It's equipped with userfriendly interface and allows to make all things work just by filling forms and clicking buttons.

Short overview on how it works.

First of all you need to make template. Every template consist of several modules, every module - is specific manipulation with files of your release (cut, crop, watermark, rename, delete, rar, upload etc).

Every time you need these manipulations to be done with some files, you just pointing to the source of these files (remote ftp folder, for example) and beforehand made template. All the rest is the script routine.

The project is just on it's start, you are not guaranteed from facing bugs, but I'm not charging for it, so I think it's a pretty nice deal. However I will appreciate any help and offering support and other bonuses for donators on project forum: forum.hero.cd

You are able to get your copy of "Release Hero" any time without registration. Additionally you can get all script releases and it's specifications on forum.

The following requirements are neccessary to run script core. Standart and third-party modules can require further server customization. To run "Release Hero" you will need:

1. Linux-based operating system (Centos 6.x recommended),

2. PHP 5.3 or higher with cURL,

3. MySql server,

4. Apache web server,

5. OpenSSL.
