Should I buy Blackberry 8900 or Iphone?

I'm kinda stuck on which phone I should purchase help me out people?!?!!?

This is what I need the phone to do.

Run Skype, Msn, and have the Wifi Option also be able to shoot vids on the fly and
email them across with no problems.

I hear Iphones can't do that.

Iphone or Blackberry?

Why not Blackberry Storm?

Ross 08-10-2009 10:47 AM

iPhone all the way. I love mine. I'm on a conference call with skype on my iPhone right now. Sooooooooo good.

dougeetx 08-10-2009 10:54 AM

If you're going to do business, definitely blackberry. iPhone isn't really a business device.

Storm_Tracker 08-10-2009 11:13 AM

can you install Skype on blackberry and make calls?

brand0n 08-10-2009 11:32 AM

i went through 3 bb before i got my 1st iphone, i am now on my 2nd iphone and wouldnt trade it for the world

MichaelP 08-10-2009 11:34 AM

one word : iphone :thumbsup

the_pervert 08-10-2009 12:25 PM

i have a blackberry and my wife has an iphone.
iphone is nice, but i prefer my blackberry, mainly because i use it for emails and i need to receive pics sent via mms...yeah, iphone, most advanced phone in the world and lacks features my free verizon phone had 3 years ago /rant

seriously though. both are good for email and with the exception of the lack of the ability to send/recieve pics via text. i have no complaints on the iphone.

RevShare it! 08-10-2009 12:41 PM

Both phones are great and both work with our sites :thumbsup
(So don't forget to redirect your iPhone/Mobile traffic to our program)

But at the office here we have a debate on iPhone vs Blackberry all the time.

iPhone just works so much better :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

Goodluck

Love my Iphone 3GS... I tend to use it as a portable web device... it's a good deal faster than the old 3g one as rendering times are improved.

Niktamer 08-10-2009 12:47 PM

iphone 3gs have all what i need

in my opinion Iphone is not good for business.

BLACKBERRY is the best plus the full keyboard is a must have

abadfish 08-10-2009 01:00 PM

"If you're going to do business, definitely blackberry. iPhone isn't really a business device."

"in my opinion Iphone is not good for business."

WHY?

Poppy 08-10-2009 01:03 PM

For business, Blackberry.

blazin 08-10-2009 01:04 PM

Iphone is okay for business use. Integration with Exchange contacts, mail and calender.

The only thing that I find annoying is that I have to specifically go to the calender to see my itinery for the day..

Storm_Tracker 08-10-2009 01:07 PM

Can you install Skype on blackberry phones? This is a must for me .. since 80% of my
contacts are on skype

AdultHardcore 08-10-2009 03:33 PM

Blackberry is the better phone by far...

SykkBoy 08-10-2009 04:56 PM

I'm in love with my iphone...I admit it...I'm an appict (my created word for an app addict)

L-Pink 08-10-2009 06:07 PM

My iphone drops it's web connection 75% of the time and I can't receive photos. Not impressed and I'm a "mac guy"

WiredGuy 08-10-2009 06:10 PM

I'm buying the BB Curve 8900 this week. iPhone is a toy as far as I'm concerned. BB is a business tool.

Blackberry all the way!

ungratefulninja 08-10-2009 07:57 PM

MMS should be coming to iPhone in the near future for messaging pictures/videos. You can e-mail media for now.

Having owned both I would give BB the nod for e-mail with their BIS push and I would give iPhone's browser the nod over the BB browser. You can download Opera for the BB but it's still inferior to Safari in my mind.

Iphone has the app store and BB has the app world. BB is still playing catchup in that respect as far as I'm concerned.

So it really depends on what is more important to you. If I only called and e-mailed I'd go BB. I personally use the browser and apps more and e-mail is secondary so I prefer iPhone.

TyroneGoldberg 08-11-2009 08:13 AM

take your right hand and place under you dick.

do you feel something? get BB. feel nothing? get a fagphone

Sid70 08-11-2009 08:18 AM

Nokia E71

CurrentlySober 08-11-2009 08:30 AM

I blame Poppy Morgan..

Miz_Wright 08-11-2009 08:32 AM

I killed my BB Curve, and went to the shop to get a new phone. Even the iPhone loving rep told me that I should stick w/ Blackberry for business functionality.

Mostly 'cos I need to edit dox and spreadsheets on the fly sometimes, and iPhone? Not so much. Neither has Flash, so that's a non-starter.

Having said there, there are lots of debates out there for and against each. Me, I stuck w/ my BB and upgraded from 8300 to 8900.

SplitPalms 08-11-2009 08:33 AM

I've always hated mac, but I broke down and got an iPhone. It's amazing and worth every penny.
