World Cup Voting Today

So, FIFA is voting on who gets to host the World Cups in 2018 and 2020, the first time they have voted on two World Cups at the same time. Who is going to win the voting? Any ideas out there?

2018 Candidates

England, Russia, Spain/Portugal (joint bid), Netherlands/Belgium (joint bid)

2020 Candidates

Qatar, USA, Australia, Korea, Japan

Been watching FSC and Gol TV a little more lately and they make it sound like Russia has more chances...

If it's england,spain/portugal or Netherlands/belgium, i will probably go for a couple of games.

2020 Would love for the US to win it

How does a joint bid work? Do they have some games in one country and other games in the other?

yeah, Korea Japan did it in 2002, worked pretty well. Some of the smaller nations have been trying it to make the costs a bit easier. I think the next Euro tournament is joint with Poland and Ukraine

their stadiums look impressive...but 110f summers don't sound like a whole lot of fun
