You'd be surprised. We were mentioned on stern at least 4 times. When he was on fm it was noticeable. Not on sattellite. The same with opie & anthony.

Recovering well from his suicide attempt.
He apparently did a late night stand-up show a month ago per his therapists instructions. He's working through a lot.

Gary said Artie reached out about coming in to the show in the future when he's ready to talk about everything on the air, but it won't be before Howard's sirius contract is up in two weeks.

He has been off the show since he suicide attempt, but they never filled the chair and say they would like to have him back some day. however, it looks like Stern may not return to Siris so I would guess if he comes back on it will be in whatever form Stern's show takes after the new year.

The only time I recall you being mentioned on Opie and Anthony was when comedian Patrice O'Neal was on and he mentioned how much he likes Ghetto Gaggers (which may have been more than once). Was there another time?

A few months back there was a guy talking about how Stern has a big enough and loyal enough audience that he could take his show online or just about anywhere and an audience would follow. If Apple got him to to do a live show that could also be downloaded via iTunes that would be a huge thing for them.

It looks like Sirius is doing the same thing to Stern that they did to Opie and Anthony. Since there really is no current competition to sign with Opie and Anthony got a low ball offer and after negotiating it up a little they were forced to sign. They looked into doing something with Pandora or last.fm but felt that either are a few years away from being viable competition.

Stern is pretty much in the same boat, albeit with a larger fan base. Terrestrial radio is so far in the shitter that no company could afford to pay him what he wants to bring him back, especially since terrestrial radio ad money is now virtually non-existent. Apple could be the perfect out for him...

He claims to have several offers form terrestrial radio companies and I think he would bring in huge dollars for them, but he says he doesn't want to do that again.I have a feeling Sirius might be undervaluing him. Supposedly he brought in 5-7 million subscribers. While some of them are bound to stay with Sirius because they like the other channels, I would not be shocked to hear that 3-5 million of them leave if Sterns leaves. At $12 a month that could be 36 to 60 million per month in revenue that they could lose. That would be a pretty big hit.

In the end I think the two need each other. It is the best place for Stern and Sirius needs him because he provides a large number of loyal paying subscribers so I think they will eventually come to some kind of a deal. But if he does walk and goes somewhere like Apple or does something on his own it could open up a large new market for that type of product.

He has got to be one of the worst wanna be comedians I can think of.

Yep, I heard him say that. Like pretty much the whole world, he is just facinated with what is now on YT.

Even tho he is annoyed he cant really get all HSOD pulled off YT. Altho mostly only HSOD audio is there, so he is pretty successful in pulling it.

Opie and Anthony twice I believe. The Patrice O'Neal is what stands out, but there was another time too but it was just in passing. They didn't spend time on the topic like Patrice did. And they were using sound bits from one of my clips too. I didn't care, I just wanted a plug :/
