I agree that it is not very even. Some episodes are great, some are a little lame. Tonight's was a little lame. But, overall, I think the series has promise if they get a second season and some better scripts.

There will be a second season, but it won't air until October 2011. As for the writing, well, the executive producer Frank Darabont basically just fried the whole writing staff and said he will write all the scripts for next season and freelance out any help he needs. It could be good because supposedly he was the primary writing on the first few episodes and he has written some great stuff in the past, but among those that will no longer be writing on the show are the guys that created the original comic book that the show is based on.

I generally liked it even though I agree some episodes were better than others.

Yeh, the first episode was so promising but the rest of the episodes were boring as hell! If you´re going to make a zombie show, there should be more action and less talking!

I think the season finale was very anticlimactic....

thats putting it lightly
