Toronto People -RIP Mark Dailey

Mark Dailey Tribute

Thought I would start a thread as I knew Mark personally, he was a family friend of one of my best friends. I've had the pleasure to hang out with Mark on a number of occasions. He was a great guy, extremely funny and well liked. RIP Mark, you'll be missed.

I remember him mostly from growing up, didn't watch too much city news lately

57? that's too bad...

great voice for just about anything. I loved when he did the voice overs for Late great movies on city tv.. He'd give a short one line explanation of the plot normally but if it was a particularly bad movie (which happened often with canadian tv in those days) he would add in stuff like "come on! it's 5am what the heck are you doing up anyway??"

Those voice overs were classic. I watched a show on him last night and he was talking about first being asked to do the voice overs as someone was on holiday. He said he tried to make it as bad as possible as he did not want the job, then everyone liked them so much he decided he would continue.
