Recently attacks to Visa and MC impact on ratios?

Do you see similar trend in your stats? Last two days?

Perhaps surfers are less inclined to use credit cards, because of the cyber attacks. It's hard to tell why something does not sell. There are too many factors to the decision: payment method, product quality, customer mood, political environment, etc.

I was thinking that too, many people are nervous about online purchases as it is, with all the recent news I would expect it would add a little more fear with some, definitely not reassuring to the average consumer.

AmateursConvert's sites ratios, yesterday thru right now, are slightly better than our yearly average. Just one program but just giving you some info.

Damn you had shitty stats to begin with.

Doing real well right now. I don't think that Mastercard's site getting ddos'ed is doing anything to sales. How many people use Mastercard anyway vs. Visa.

Anyway, I'm having the best Dec. in over 2 years. And that's in a bad economy. I am theorizing it's the legal attack on piracy that is causing it. Some of the people who USED to get all their porn for free on torrents are now worried that they might get nailed by a lawyer and/or the govt.

That's my thought. Anyway...sales are way up for me. Across the board. To claudia-marie.com AND to the sites I promote on my TGP's It's been a pleasant surprise.

mastercard.com status has nothing to do with the processing end of things at all....

yes it does as they Ddos attacks also were aimed at the mastercard securecode page. When a customer cannot enter that, the transaction is declined thus fewer sales.

wow looks like I fucked up with the grammar on the title of this thread lol :D

But looks like not only MC affected.. Cause I can't access Visa site too. News sites reports attacks on them too

Stats were nice and stable and then... the bottom dropped out. No idea if it is due to this..

I briefly went onto the anon irc chan, and they said that peoples cards are being rejected due to the attack so it definately is effecting ratios.
