How would you describe your personal politican/philosophical conviction?

From a financial standpoint I am fairly conservative. I think taxes should be as low as possible and we should try to spend money wisely. I think there is a way to keep taxes low yet still provide a good quality of life for citizens, but we would have to stop wasting cash on a lot of the stuff we spend it on. From moral standpoint I am more liberal. I think pot should be legal (even though I don't smoke it) and I think gay should be allowed to be married (even though I'm not gay) I kind of feel like as long as you aren't hurting anyone or involved in something that could hurt someone you should be allowed to do it.

So I guess, in a way, I'm pretty libertarian.

I am a meat-eating vegetarian.

I would describe it as a work in progress that is not likely to ever be finished.

But I do crack a smile every time I see something that suggests the world may end soon.

I lean left and can be considered a liberal on a lot of social issues. However I have many beliefs that I feel are also moderate.

Overall I'd like to think I'm a centrist and evaluate each issue as it comes, more or less going both conservative and liberal close to an equal number of times because I do LIKE balance and think the extreme in any direction is never a good thing. However in reality I'm pretty much economically conservative and socially liberal. I think the government has turned to shit though with most if not all politicians being complete bastards these days. I don't know when the definition of politician turned from leader to scumbag, but things just aren't looking good at all for this country.
