How could someone who is privately educated, and studies history not know it was the cenotaph?

Who cares, England is full of wanna be repressed individuals with an undogmatic approach to knowledge yet just stick their nose in the air and wear jeans that are too tight.

If you want to really care, then stop caring so much what the fuck who the fuck is climbing on what the fuck!

They are not protesting because they are being made to pay. They already pay for higher education, the issue at hand is that the governement approved them raising the tution prices from an average of 3,000 pounds to 9,000 pounds a year, that is triple what it once was.

All english should stop the riots now!

They didn't raise the price by 6000 or 7000 pounds... The government used to pay that part of the price with tax money. The difference is that the students now will have to pay for it themselves.

In a free world, if you want to buy a certain service or product, you pay for it. Demanding that others pay for it is unethical.

Might get rid of the mickey mouse subjects and make a lot of people who should never have gone to university anyway actually do something sensible instead.

I think the £9,000 is just a top limit - not a fixed amount. And it's not an upfront payment either you don't have to start paying it back until you earn £21,000/year.

Yup, the governments should spend billions on weapons, but god forbid they subsidize the tertiary tuition .... BTW, in a "free" World all the crippled, handicapped, and the seriously sick would have been long dead.
