Who Has Been To Disney World? Hotel Suggestions?

Taking the fam on a road trip to Disney next summer. We want a 1 or 2 bedroom suite and rides to the amusement parks. Looking for hotel suggestions.

You looking to save money or not worried about budget?

I was just there stayed in the biggest suites at kilani animal kingdom and loved it. Great suite, see animals roaming around from your room, great pool, everything was awesome

Stay at a actual disney resort. You get the free shuttle and the extra magic hours. Thats worth the cost right their. We have stayed at disney polynesian if you dont mind the cost or the carribian beach is ok for more budgest friendly. Not sure if they have suites at that one though. Polynesian does for sure :) Have fun!

I went to Disney World (Orlando) 2-3 years ago. I was at Disney Land (Cali) 2 weeks back. For both of these visits, it was my first time. My suggestion to you is as follows. Stay on property, and get the dining plan.

We stayed on a moderate hotel when I did DW. However, when we go back (GF goes like every 12-18 months with family) I will be staying in one of them on the Monorail system, like the Contemporary. I would prefer the convenience, especially staying for a week.
:2 cents:

If you will have a car, and don't mind driving 10-15 minutes, rent a house instead. You can get a 5 or 6 bedroom house, with a private heated pool for less than $1000 a week, many times for $100 a day. And these are nice houses in brand new subdivisions. Check VRBO.com.

if you want a hotel they can have fun at and the rooms are half decent nickhotel.com, if you want the most spacious rooms for the money, full kitchen, full size suites with 2 bathrooms for the least amount of money staybridge suites is by far the best hotel I've stayed at.

DO NOT get a hotel on the disney property, total rip off!
