Lebrons new south beach "crib"
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/bal...urn=nba-294648
By Kelly Dwyer Not content to merely tell you that LeBron James(notes) has moved into a massive mansion down in South Beach (overlooking Biscayne Bay, 12,000 square feet, a water view from every room), we now need to hip you to how, exactly, LeBron James' life will look from day to day. Provided he's not pulling into Sacramento at 3 p.m. on a Saturday morning in order to play the Kings that night. Here are the pictures of James' most recent purchase (besides that club sandwich from the hotel in Sacramento): The front view: http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_spor...jQXOEDacBKa8Ir http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_spor...QkXOEDPgC4k91a http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_spor...tkXOED8Uoh.FeJ http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_spor...GlXOEDnSeSzQAg http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_spor...klXOEDpJ8Z1.1q http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_spor...OmXOEDHwM4KZra http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/ept_spor...omXOEDp8AFpSF. |
fuck man... it is so wrong that sport people earn so much money... very bad...
Is it true that in USA a guy with a very low IQ, can still get a degree in university, if they are good athletes either in Basket or American Football?? How do they approve the exams if their IQ is so low?? always wondered about that... kind of weird, honestly. . |

yes it is soooo wrong that someone who is in the top 1% of athletes on the planet in one of the most popular sports earns a lot of money. Idiot.
|
wow insane
|
Pretty sweet looking place
|
Jeszzzzzz!
|
really nice house but fuck that location... needs to be on a private island
|
He'll be broke a few years after he retires. Hope he enjoys the 4 washing machines while it lasts.
|
Nice house, too bad LeBum wont have a championship ring to showcase in his house.
|
It looks good but I would rather just lease a place instead of buying. Most athletes buy so much shit they don't need and in couple years they are going bankrupt. In his case if they don't with the NBA Championship he might be out of Miami.

To put in perspective, this house costs $9mil
Lebron makes $14.5mil This would be the same as people making $100k/yr buying $80k houses, but of course we know people that make $100k/yr go and buy $300-400k houses (4x their annual salary) Smart man spending less than 1year of income on a house |
dont hate the playa, hate the game

I would say he is a smarter business man then Mike Tyson though. |
he is a smart business man, trust me, go read up more about him and his LLCs and crap.. he doesnt even have the house in his name...
anyway for someone who makes $15mil/yr BEFORE endorsements and only spends $9mil, he is doing something right.. all these dumb hollywood fucks should learn.. they make $5mil/yr but go and buy a $50mil house |

The 1 % of talented teachers don't even earn a small slice of what this giant muscular NBA guy earns.. or what a stupid NFL dude with steroids earns.. You are giving bad image to children who want to success in life... "don't study, just play soccer or basket all day and you will be milionaire". so shut the fuck up, asshole. . |
Lol, wow, Lebron is the man.

"LeBron James is an American NBA star with an estimated net worth of $90 million. LeBron makes $45 million per year in salary and endorsements" Trust me, he is spending way less than he makes.. Lebron has a gazillion endorsements, and he could afford more shit than he buys.. |
That's Capitalism, don't hate it. I can't stand Lebron the basketball player, but he's hustlin' just like everyone else....don't knock the hustle.

As per your previous question about how these guys get through college. The guys that are on Lebron's level and make this kind of money rarely complete college. LeBron went pro right out of high school. A lot of NBA guys go 1-2 years and turn pro. Same with the NFL. MLB drafts kids when they are 15 and allows them to enter their minor league system at 17. So grades have very little to do with it. |
We can earn that in PORN!

Or do you think we should just bann sports altogether. You can't have sports without having sports heros. |
Must have a lot of socks.

Dude there is something behind it all that we all dont know. If i had that money i would gamble with sports as well. 100 thousand to say manny pacquiao a few times a year.. It stacks up. My dream right here.

I just laughed at the wine room empty except one bottle. I don't care how much he gets paid or what he spends.

Good for him. This guy has a talent that very few have and he gets paid well for it.
Nothing wrong with that. |

Your reasoning for hating athletes is pretty short sided. You have no clue how much sacrifice and hard work it takes to make it to that level. Also you are forgetting not only is he in the top 1% of the athletes hes in the top 1% of his choice of sports (basketball) most NBA players make no where near what Lebron makes. You also have to remember most of these guys careers will last only a few years depending on what sport you are talking about not to mention the wear and tear to your body. Take the average salary and average it over the rest of their life (if you don't plan on getting a regular job after sports) and you will see its really not that much money for the average pro athlete. |
I don't partilarly like the NBA, and I don't care much about LeBron James. Seems to me the guy earned his money, though. He worked for that house and everything he has.

I would say 1% of teachers are talented. The rest just cruise through their days, ignoring the needs of their students, living in fear, and bitching to their unions about their pensions and inflation-adjusted wage increases. Find a teacher who can pack a 20,000 seat school auditorium every other night and you have an argument. As it is, most teachers can't even keep 20-30 kids interested in what they're jabbering on about. I don't even care about LeBron James. |
