I have been with webair for over 6 years and have a couple dedicated boxes with them. They have gone above and beyond to help me out with anything I needed and the uptime is amazing. Two thumbs up for webair!

I just tried out their virtual hosting, but was very surprised the CP wasn't even going over a secure connection :S

I mean, putting https:// before your url does not mean it's a secure connection.

From a hosting co, I did not expect such a stupid flaw

I remember my first server, all very exciting I know.

webair virtual/vps hosting seems like a totally diff company than what I hear of their dedi boxes

The entire Control Panel is ran via secure HTTPS. If you try to access it via HTTP only, you're redirected and forced to use HTTPS. If you receive an error about something being non-secure its was most likely related to an external image loading via HTTP at that time.

for image hosting i used them on the super cheap plan
never had an issue

just a few weeks ago i switched to a much larger plan w/ them for all my personal sites

going great so far

I resemble those remarks! I messed them up twice this week and they took it in stride, patted me on my little pointed head and said. "Here's your server!", now go play!

This month is my 1 year anniversary with Webair and there doesn't seem to be much these guys won't do to keep clients happy. Gerard is a top guy who really does seem to care, even when I'm harrassing the poor guy to death!
