I'm proud to formally annouce my newest venture, CGDeveloping!
Hey everyone,
It's a bit belated since I started it over a year ago, but I wanted to let everyone know a little bit about my newest venture, CGDeveloping. Over a year ago, I was presented with a unique opportunity to help out someone I knew by providing them with a team of outsourced web developers. I leveraged my extensive relationships with overseas firms, and basically retained, leased out and managed this team. I then realized what great providence this had, and started building my site and contacting other people I new, to explain what I was doing here and how I could help them. So now, a year later, I'd like to let all of you here know what CGDeveloping is all about, and what it can do for you. First off, let me just get it out of the way that we're not an in-house development firm. We don't specialize in one-off projects. Our focus is leasing you outsourced employees who will work for you on a monthly full time basis. Whether you need developers, sysadmins, designers, or any other flavor of IT talent, I can provide it for you. A unique thing that sets CGDeveloping apart from other such firms is that we are not a "fire and forget" service provider who only cares about making the deal, then moving on. Our account managers stay in touch with you, and work closely to ensure that your CGD staff are fully meeting the requirements of their position. Furthermore, your CGD staff members will send you daily work reports summarizing their verifiable accomplishments for the day, so you're not left wondering if they're actually working or not. Finally, we do not employ freelancers. Why? Because they could just take off on you at any given moment, and we don't want our clients left high and dry if such a thing were to occur. Instead, we are partnered with several firms who we retain numerous staff members from, ensuring the vested interest in our partner firms that CGD is taken care of, which means YOU are taken care of. What does this mean in the end for you? If you're not happy with your staff member, we have them replaced. If something happened and they could no longer work, all their progress would be retained, and a replacement could step in and pick up where things left off. So no matter where you are located, I strongly feel that if you have an IT staff, you should consider the potential benefits and savings that CGDeveloping could bring your organization, and contact me to see what I can do for you. Many people on GFY know me, and I back everything I do with my name and good reputation, and you can call my directly on my cell at 805-291-2222 with any questions you might have, or email [email protected] for more information. Thanks for reading this, and I'm very excited to see what we can do together! :thumbsup |
congrats and best of luck

Kenny brought up a good point to me in IM a moment ago. What I meant about one-off projects was not communicated as clearly as I had intended. What we do is derive cost based on the number of months it will take X number of staff members to complete a project. We don't do it in terms of a flat cost for a project. Instead, the cost is broken down in such a way that you see how many months (each staff member is retained in a minimum time denomination of one month of full time work) it will take your team to complete the project. Also, we fully guarantee our deadlines so that unless you add in details along the way, we promise to have your project done on time and budget. If for any reason it took longer than projected, you would pay ZERO against that extra time needed. |
Grats on the launch! Best of luck :)

I deal with the goddamn customers so the engineers don't have to! I have people skills! I am good at dealing with people! Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people? :pimp Actually, what we do is pair up the best outsourced talent with the right companies needing their service, and then act as their QA partner, making sure that their CGD staff members have the tools and support they need to excel in all of their assignments. Think of it this way: We are like fully managed hosting is in comparison to unmanaged hosting. With most outsourcing firms, you get a worker, and then he/she is your blessing or curse to deal with unless you decide to fire him/her. At CGDeveloping, the client may retain a staff member from us, but they also get the added bonus of our project management and QA services. CGD clients call us to conceptualize projects, discuss goals, and lay down the groundwork of a task, if it's not already there. Then we organize the customers vision into a concise work flow (something many clients have trouble with on their own, especially when they do not come from a technical background like I do) which is then executed by the workers the client retains. |
Congrats man, it's a tough game I know, but I'm confident with your experience you can pull it off and provide great service!

Yes the octohand picture. And btw,i will never ever hire anyone from india or philippines, those people are fucking stupid.Maybe only for simple tasks like directory submission and similar which doesn't require intelligence.
