Brett Favre Streak Ends at 297
He started every game since 1992.
NFL legend Well done. |
Not a fan of the game myself, but I can see how that's a pretty solid figure.
18 years? That's dedication. |
Well done, Brett Favre, NFL Legend. What an impressive show of personal strength!
At least his streak for sending cock shots via cell phone remains intact. God bless you Brett Favre
he played every game like a kid - every touchdown he would throw his arms up and run like crazy up field .... thanks for the memories Mr. Favre
I think he's a drama queen more often than not, but I'll give him props...the vast majority of careers in any pro sport don't last that long let alone that long without missing a single start. Even Cal Ripken Jr.'s streak is over a lesser period of time.
That said, the Vikes are going to be stinging from this year for a while I think. |
They say by the time he can come back, the season will most likely be over and we may have very well seen his last game.
Good times watching him play like a six shooter!
Great career for sure. an all time great. amazing that Tavaris Jackson didn't even make it through the entire game without leaving due to injury. Shows how impressive the streak is.

would have been cool is the roof-collapse extra day was enough rest for him to be able to play. As if god collapsed caused enough snow for Brett Favre to heal and the streak to continue.

"About fucking time!" |
his hand was purple during the game
He really is something else that guy
Too bad he extended the streak at the expense of his teams and teammates. The Vikings should have benched his ass a long time ago. The most overrated and narcissistic athlete of our generation. All-time leader in interceptions and throwing away games with ridiculous decision making. Please fucking retire. You ain't cool just because you wear wranglers. Rednecks hero; nothing more.
Looks like he may start tonite vs da bears
He got knocked the fuck out tonight. Please retire Favre to free up millions and millions of sports journalism pages.
