What is the avergae number of sales?

What is the average number of "new sales" for a pay site that is doing extremely well?

Agent 488 12-13-2010 11:04 PM

Juicy D. Links 12-13-2010 11:07 PM

543/hour give or take

sahirr 12-13-2010 11:18 PM

10000's a second

Is it not extreme??

MIS 12-13-2010 11:28 PM

Formula

'Total sales' / 'Number of days' = 'Average number of daily sales'

so for a site that is doing extremely well

'Total extremely well sales' / 'Number of extremely well days' = 'Average number of extremely well daily sales'

Hope that helped.

It's all relative to what you've invested and what your operating expenses are.

How do you know it is doing extremely well if you do not know the number of sales it should have in comparison to other sites?

Extremely well to one person can be 2 sales a day (I don't know who that person is, but I'm sure they exist) whereas for someone else it is 250.

This is just not a question that can be answered with a single number.

As in rest of society richest 1% population own 50% wealth
The top 5% own 80% wealth....

So the top sites will have 50% of the sales and at the bottom lots of small sites chasing a few sales....

For example you can see review sites a few have traffic ranking in the thousands but the majority in the millions.

The silence is deafening, isnt it?

Without going into detail why, sites that were easily doing 50-70 sales daily a couple of years ago are doing 15-25 sales daily nowadays.

I wouldn't define that as extremely well though, more so as good. For extremely well you can double the numbers I suppose.

I just posted the same question as an anonymous poll. Let's see...
