I figured it would have taken a lot less than that, lol. There really wasn't a whole lot of zombie slaughter in the series. That's not what I took any issue with though, I enjoyed the show, that is, until it ended. My issue lays in the fact that season one, was basically a half season that went nowhere. I didn't find the writing that was there bad, I jus tthink it was a poor shot on the writer's part for not bringing any sort of closure to the season. If they knew they had six episodes, they should have wrapped some shit up in those 6 episodes, but they didn't. It is essentially a half season. They went to the effort of opening up a buch of little side stories, that never bloomed into a fucking thing. The black dude and his son, Merle, the Mexicans. It seems like every episode they introduced some new side story, that never came to mean anything. Nothing even came of the main group of characters. 6 episodes is not enough to work with, what the fuck were they thinking?
