Biological and Chemical warfare has been around for thousands of years. We weren't the first, and we certainly won't be the last.

Biological warfare was first time used to kill indians.
Chemical warfare was first time effectivly used in WW1.
US used agent orange.
Then US unofficial friend Saddam (friend in that era) used it.
And we can mention phosphor used on civilians, antitank ammunition with uranium or nuke used.

"Biological" warfare was used long before fights with "indians". For instance, when Roman Legions used catapults to hurl dead and rotting corpses in to enemy strong holds.
