62,534 Email Addresses - Now what?

Hi,

So we have 62,534 valid emails from one of our websites. But we've set up a new, fresh website and would like to send all the people an email about it.

Some are subscribed, paying members. Some just have a free/trial account.

I've got some great tips from a few guys on the forum which I appreciate a LOT but I figured I'd also throw this in the group and see what feedback I get.

Thanks in advance!

We'd rather just promote our new site 1 or 2 times to them.. Figured there'd be loads of response but it looks like I was way off.. ;)

Make sure you are in compliance with the appropriate spam laws in your jurisdiction.

Google "CAN-SPAM" and click the FTC link (I need 30 posts to have permission for link posting)

You can always monetize a database like that through an API.

If you're looking to send out dating offers, let me know!

Thanks for the posts guys, but again.. we're not spamming any ads or other offers but our own NEW website we want them to sign up to.

So I'm looking for good headline/content ideas, you know? :)

I agree with this

I'm assuming you send out regular mail to those members anyway, so I would simply add a mention of new sites/services in the side.

One of the best ways would be to send out a special edition. Write up the most convincing aspects of the new venture and it should sell itself if it's the right audience.

Create a page of reviews with affiliate links to niches that you do not offer and spam the list and let them know.
