Hi gang, one of the things that I get the most compliments on with my work are the skintones. I recently released a color-correction tutorial video that explains in full detail how I process my work for beautiful skintones. The video sells for $69 and is available for instant download from SkinToneMadness.com.

As a GFY exclusive offer, if you use the coupon code: GFY50 when checking out, you can purchase this tutorial for 50% OFF. This offer is available for the next 48 hours only.

Thanks and Happy Holidays :thumbsup

Sounds like a great product Dean, best of luck marketing it:thumbsup

Nice Dean... one thing that has always continually pissed me off in this industry is people's lack of attention when it comes to post-production. You always hit the nail on the head, glad to see you spreading the love, and hopefully educating a few people on their own game.

Looks great. Will you do more tutorials like this?

Ethersync 12-20-2010 06:33 PM

Dean, you should do tutorials on lighting and shooting too. I'm sure that will sell great.

Downloading the torrent now! :1orglaugh

No seriously though, I don't do the type of content you shoot Dean, but I'm always trying to fix up skin tones for personal pics and then once in a while I need to do skin tones for tour graphics, would this be for someone with medium photoshop skills minus any idea of how to effectively use PS levels? Or is this for pro's only?

This is for someone who is comfortable using Photoshop, Bridge and Adobe Camera Raw. It's not a tutorial for beginners.

It was mainly designed as a "system" for shooters who need a reliable workflow. My workflow actually starts out in the field - "on-location" and follows through picture developing and then fine-tuning and finishing. I've sold the package to graphics guys who are not shooters and have gotten great feedback from them. Even though it was designed for a shooter, anyone with some basic knowledge of Photoshop and Camera Raw would have no problems following along :thumbsup

I've only gotten positive feedback on it so far. I launched it back in August and have sold quite a few of them. Nobody has asked for a refund so I'm thinking that's a good sign :thumbsup

It's not really a "technique" - more of a workflow system :thumbsup
