I don't think that it is sad. I choose to live alone with my dog and like it that way...but thanks anyhow.

His son will only be here for the 24th and not for Xmas day...but it will be good to see him again. I have known him since I was 12 years old.

I got my dog a bunch of new toys...so he will wear me out on Xmas day as he loves to play. It is the rainy season so we won't get into the wilderness or do much fishing until spring and he gets cabin fever.
