I've been buying $3 CDs
Yeh I know it's cooler to steal or purchase songs for one dollar a piece, but hey I'm weird.
I have a subscription to Rhapsody, $10 a month. They have just about everything I want but every now and then I'll hear an artist or song that they do not have. Head over to Amazon Marketplace, most used CDs are under a dollar plus shipping of around $2.50. Have to wait a couple days but it's not so bad, really can't beat three dollars for a full CD. My frugal idea for the day. |
$3 is cheap for a CD. Good luck.

i have been buying used cd's for years.. i always thought they were overpriced and knew that bands barely got anything for cd sales anyway.. I do the same for dvd's.
bands get paid for touring. |
Another benefit of CDs, unless badly scratched, is better quality sound than highly compressed music downloads.
On a related topic, do any of the major on-line music sellers (ie. Amazon) offer downloads in uncompressed PCM (WAV)? Ron |

I like to use my old CDs as drink coasters, then sell them used.

Make sure you get them autographed by the black dudes on the Venice boardwalk.
:winkwink: |
I've got almost 300 CD's I want to sell...mostly 80's Hair-Metal -- all are pristine like they've never been handled. And a rolling DJ Flight Case (Eurolight Cases) that holds them all. If interested, let me know...
