good article, but its pretty old news. attraction and excitement go along together.
thats why people in scary or out of the ordinary situations find themselves attracted to one another. However, the longevity of that is minimal and usually ends up in separation after a few weeks?
Why Dr. Bossku69? simple... the relationship was built on the thrill of adrenaline. when you see that person you are reminded of that time, and thats the connection. after a while it gets boring and it much harder to get things aroused back to that state.
Rather, if your looking for a LTR, meet a girl in a quiet setting, like a library, grocery store, etc., and then for the next 50+ years slowly introduce new exciting (even planed) events, like high speed car chases or bank robberies.
Just the other week I saved my gf from being hit by an old lady who wasnt paying attention in a Target parking lot. The spark was back in our relationship for a bit and I could do no wrong... now its died down and I have to put her yet, back again into another life endangering event :1orglaugh
