I bought a site that was hosted there and so far I left it there. Nothing to report good or bad, which is good.

I think one of the best things you can say about a host is that you don't have to think about them.

Usually communicating with your host means solving problems.

Good guys and good hosting service. Found them on WHT for mainstream video tube sites that I have. All preset with ffmpeg and other things.

Here's link for you to join ;)

Clipshare.
I think there are free scripts similar to Clipshare.

Thats good, is it on a VPS or Shared?

I know someone else who hosted a tube there for a while never seemed to have any problems.

I noticed they have 1 click installs for a few different tube scripts.

Are you running a VPS there?

No, just their regular shared hosting. I don't get more that 2000 hits per day, so its not loading servers what so ever. I don't know how much is too much for their servers but I had same site kicked out from dreamhost for "overloading".
I never used their one click installs, cause those video scripts are very easy to install on your own. All you need is database and path to players. On citrex its all like this /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg so its a default on pretty much all video sharing scripts. I would highly recommend those guys.

My link again ;)

A few months ago I purchased a small (shared) package for blog hosting from them, and I prepaid for a year. I had problems from the get go. First off fantastico wasn’t pre-installed, as the sign-up page indicated. It took 2-3 days for them to get that worked out. The whole point of buying the account for me was quick wordpress installs. So I quit working on the account until the next weekend. Went to use it to install a blog that next weekend and while fantastco was installed it didn’t work, and it retuned an error saying it wasn’t configured right when you tired to use it. Again pushed off until the next week any work on that account because it took 2-3 days to resolve. Went to use it for the final time and while the previous error was fixed a new one occurred and it wasn’t useable. Asked for a refund and they gave it to me. Bottom line is the account wasn’t working with all the features promised on the sign-up page 2 weeks into buying the account and support requests took on average more than 48 hours to get resolved for simple things that should have been working out of the box. My impression was they would get my support ticket, and forward it to whomever they were reselling for and wait for them to respond to the problem.

I have been with them for a year now. Vps is very good, awesome. Support is a bit slow. Overall they were perfect till one day.....woke up and found all sites were offline. Whole vps was gone......nope, whole server was wiped clean. Not a single byte of data from so called back up was retrieveable. Lost EVERYTHING. LET ME BLOODY REPEAT - EVERYTHING.
I had very few old backups but otherwise it was a perfect disaster. About 100 other users lost eveything as well. They offered generous refunds or credits but that was about it.
I have stayed with them due to credit but rely on my own backups now.

Thats why I install things on my own. Things like WP are easy to install anyway. If I get an error I just google it and 90% of the time you know its its some php feature or server config. I had problem with one of the scripts and these guys threw custom made php.ini in my account and it was all fixed same day. What you were dealing with is something that was system wide and it took time for them to find it. I never bother looking at "one click installs" anyway.

If you want to do a lot of blogging it becomes very time consuming to upload worpress, set-up databases and so forth for each and every install. The reason I bought the account from them is because I was specifically looking for the ability to auto install, and they advertised they had this included with every account. I have other accounts I can do manual installs on, but I wanted to save some time.

to each it own I guess but it takes about a minute to create DB in Plesk or any other panel. Upload rar file of WP and unzip it thru file viewer and update wp-config.php file. I can do entire install of WP in 5 minutes flat if not less. Now writing text for blogs takes time. I will agree to that.

Shared. Quite temperamental, wouldn't surprise me if all the servers are female.
