Where Should I Go For Vacation? 500K miles expiring next year if I don't use them.
 

I have over 500,000 miles expiring this year on Delta and can get a first class ticket anywhere in the World.

Where should I go?

I like a little exotic culture, a little nightlife, good food, and not too dangerous for Americans.

Jersey Shore :pimp:pimp

I love the Jersey Shore, especially, up by Staten Island. I like the deli food, the Jersey culture, and those cold sandy beaches and Jersey waters where I can't see my feet.

Nightlife: Some great clubs... Q-Bar.. Superbed... Gogo bars of Soi Cowboy & Pattaya
Food: Every imaginable food, of course Thai... also some great Japanese chains.

Hotels are pretty cheap as well and the service is great at most places.. :)

I was in Thailand and Singapore last year and I really liked it. I accumulated the miles over two or three years using a Northwest Airlines Visa. I lived in Japan and Korea for three years and I love Asia in general.

When Delta purchased NWA, they transferred the miles to their program which really sucks.

While with NWA, the miles never expired, now with Delta, I was told that I have to use them in 2011 and what I don't use, I loose.

Thinking about a dive trip across Oceania with a stop in Phillipines and Okinawa.

Just get the delta cc and put some activity on your account. unless it's some special rule because they are transfered from the old program?

I really dislike American Express. I have the card and will use it this weekend just to keep it active. I think it has to do with the miles being transferred from NWAs program.

Philippines is the great place to stay!
