Keurig coffee

Got a Keurig coffee maker (gift), and love it but some of the varieties taste a little weaker than I like. Anyone else have one and like stronger coffee too? Got any recommendations on which types of coffee to buy for it?

buy fresh roasted coffee and then adjust the grind until you get the strength you like, use French or Italian roast if you want a harsh taste..

I buy fesh roast, grind myself and use a french press

1.Boil the 4 quarts of water in your large saucepan over a high flame.

2.Add the coffee grounds and egg shell once water has come completely to a boil.

3.Return the water to a boil. The moment you add the coffee grounds the water will settle down and the temperature will drop. It will take approximately another three minutes to bring the water to a boil.

4.Remove the coffee from the heat source and let it stand for three to four minutes.

5.Pour in the half cup of ice-cold water. This will not only reduce the scalding hot temperature of your coffee, but it will also send the coffee grounds to the bottom of the pan. Serve with a ladle and enjoy.

you can get starbucks for those machines...

those are good for quick cups (perfect for the office) but yes the varieties are weaker. go for the DARK roasts to get any decent kick.

personally prefer old fashioned perk pots and french press with grind your own beans for freshness.

I personally enjoy my Amaroy.

Brujah-

I have a Keurig.
Bought a ton of Kona blend- it's amazing

As well as I like the cappuccino, and Emeril Lagasse coffee's they've got great flavour.

It's a nice system, though the coffee is a bit expensive, works out to like 50 cents per cup... :(

just get the "bold" variety, there are plenty to choose from... if it's still too weak, just make a "small" cup, instead of the regular cup...

we used to have one. just go with the bold stuff and you'll be fine.

Dark Magic is a good coffee for that. You can by a device that obviates the need for the K cup and you can grind your own.

If your coffee is too weak, you don't have enough whiskey in it
