2. I have a text file with descriptions for each picture, separated
3. I have a link with an affiliate code each picture and join link must lead to

What I need:

1. To automate blog posting on a timely basis using 1,2,3 from above.

Hmm doesnt wordpress already have function where you can define at what time post will be published ?

Sid70 I tried to make something like this, basically you take a text file and it updates blogs through ti really what you wanted exactly but there were some issues and it didn't work exactly how I wanted it to work. I'm on your icq hit me up and ill send it to you for free.

Yeah, I'm kinda baffled by someone asking for help and then acting annoyed that they got a recommendation of a good off-the-shelf solution and a good custom coder. What more could they have been looking for?
