Backdoors on server
 

How many of you put easy-to-access backdoors on your servers?

and why the hell would you do it man? do you keep windows on your house opened when you are leaving? i am really curious to know ... ? :)

I dont mean an unlocked backdoor. I just mean a non-root way to access your server.

Just saw the movie Tron, and of course he gets in through a backdoor. I just never thought someone would actually have an easy way in. I mean techincally, phpmyadmin, could be considered a backdoor (to the database).

Just wonderin...

phpmyadmin is probably the #1 exploited tool out there and if its not setup correctly frankly someone just took over your server. We have seen more exploits because users simply just install phpmyadmin and don't bother to secure it than I'd like to say.

as many things you can fill, fill them. do not leave anything, more things they can get together, more possibility they can break in :2 cents:
