Anyone use a pen rather then a mouse?

I got a BamBoo pen tablet for Christmas from my brother and I got to say it's almost replaced my mouse for 95% of things.

Anyone else use one?

My bf got the same one 3 years ago and he's keeping it on the desk, unused, since :)

Seems easier to grab a mouse than pick up the pen. but... looks nice

When your typing and using it's a pain but when your doing photoshop or 3D objects like Cinema 4D etc it's really nice.

95% of things? Do you mean graphic work, or also windows navigating?

If you are using it for design work, I can understand what you are saying...
If you are using it for 95% of your daily web browsing, emailing, coding, watching movies, listening to music etc, you'll end up with a painful wrist very very quickly.

Been using wacom tablets instead of mice for over 10 years. Much less stress on the hand as your hand is very used to holding a pen.

Here is a tip. Assign the bottom of the side rocker switch as a double click, and the top of it as a right click. The single click for a double click saves many clicks over the course of the day!

Not at all. I use it for 100% of computing tasks, less wrist pain than from a mouse for sure.

Games you need a mouse but anything that is click and drop etc Browser, file management, photoshop etc.

I'm an artist, and I hate using a pen, so that should tell you something. I can;t think of anything that can beat a mouse.

I use the Wacom Cintiq 21ux..... love it.

the difference between a mouse and the Cintiq is night & day.

I couldn't live without my Cintiq.
