Well if my wife getting it counts, I asked for a kindle. And I got it. She is Redecorating the office and the house.

Some how I think I lost out on that.

I got myself a robot. :)

I hate brooming and/or vacuuming and we live in a small department on a main avenue which picks up lots of dust on a daily basis.

I have a Swiffer which does its job dusting and mopping but always half-assed since there is so much dust, hair and crap piling up and we've been looking into getting a vacuum cleaner to maybe make the job better/easier/faster.

I saw an ad on local TV about the Roomba and looked into it. Loved the concept and ordered one on Amazon. It's amazing, the little fucker brooms and vacuums the whole place on its own, while I work at my desk, making mopping with the Swiffer afterward a walk in the park.

You'd think a house cleaning appliance is an odd self-gift for X-Mas, but its one of the best purchases I have ever done.

I bought myself a couple bottles of booze, and 2 warm hooded sweatshirts. That's about it so far. Last year I got myself a nice watch.
