Cashing International Checks

Been promoting World Dating Partners and recently got my first check. But they pay via check in pounds and my bank doesn't have a relationship with their clearing house so they want 6-8 weeks to collect the money.

Any hints for cashing international checks faster without being in a major city with big banks?

don't use checks.

Damn that sucks.. Depending on the amounts you might want to find a local bank that does have connections to the clearing house.

I can set it up for wire transfers, but I need to check what my bank will charge to accept and covert that.

They don't offer any e-payment solutions.

First check was $600

I get the same cashing US checks, and the answer I always get told is to 'Use a real bank".

In reality, we need American Banks (and American's) to get a clue, and realize that checks are 15 years out of date with current technology.

Try paying for goods, or services (even utilities) with a check in any other place in the world. People look at you like you're from the 80's on a bad acid trip.

Non-US affiliates face this problem every day when they receive US checks.

Wow! too long!
Im in Argentina and if the check is less than $2,500 I get it on the moment I put it on the bank for a 2.5% fee.
If the check is above of $2,500 and I have no other checks cashed before above this amount, it can take upto 45 days to clear and cash it at the same rate of 2.5%

World Dating Partners pay me via wire, ask them to do the same for you - Agnes is the woman who sorts it out. The fees are nominal. Cheques are so 80's. I haven't owned a cheque book in probably a decade.

You could consider getting paid bi-monthly or setting the payout higher... you get the same cash, just less fees and a longer wait time. If you set yourself up in a way that isn't paycheck to paycheck, this is a great option.

americans will never get it as the as the whole world is just a reflection of their weird culture.

Wow! 6 to 8 weeks? What are they waiting for, the cash to arrive via steamship? When it's all really done by computers anyway. What a load of crap.

Actually it is, it's paper notes (hard copy actual physical money), NOT automated bank transfer/transactions.

Isn't hard to understand, the problem is CHECKS not the banks trying to secure the money payable on them.
