Best time to buy Euros with USD?
 

I'm traveling in mid march and trying to play the exchange rate game prior to going there. Anyone have thoughts on when the best time to buy Euros is? yeah, I know its a changing market, but think now would be better than then or wait it out?

these days probably, because EUR is hitting 1.30 barrier and even though some predict it'll continue down trend, I think 1.3 is pretty cool rate.

Right now its just about as low as it has been since about mid September. :2 cents: However as far as giving you advice for the near, future i have no idea :1orglaugh

Wait for Portugal, then Italy then Spain to hit the toilet then buy buy buy...

just hope the dollar hasn't been dumped by the Chinese, if so your fucked

or buy gold !

Well this is currently ideal situation-EUR is week against USD,but strong against CZK and HRK(czezh and croatian currency)

the point is not when u will must buy euros but where u will go to spend them... because every country has huge differences with prices...

i'd just pull local currency out of the atm whenever i need it. :2 cents:

yea, i got screwed this summer. I paid like 1.39 per dollar here in the US. While I was there it went down into the high 120's i believe. Would have made a nice difference with the amount i took.

The time is now I guess :)
