Who else hates Namecheap's new buggy design?
1. It's buggy. Doesn't work in older browsers. (Fact)
2. It's fugly. (Personal opinion). 3. It's decreases productivity. :2 cents: |
not really liking it, but I guess Im change resistant. It will take some time to get used to it
|
I've seen it, but have not needed to do anything using it... Yet...
|
Looks like a 5 year old with no design skills was in charge of that.
|
the adult industry in notorious for loving changes. </sarcasm>
|
My opinion is always "why change what aint broke?"
They pop a window asking for feedback so if you have a problem with it, make sure you send that feedback and let them know, otherwise youre stuck with it ... |
I keep saying no to trying it out. Much like the new Facebook profile format, I will let others get it first and then move over when I have no other choice.
|
Well.... "CHEAP" is it's Last Name :winkwink:
|
i hate it. loved the old one!
|
no problem with it.
What i don't like is the new twitter desgin, its so slow and it hangs all the time. |
designs not but...
|
Like Sarah, I keep saying no to the new version. I did try it in IE, and didn't care for it, and wrote and told them what I didn't like.
I am sure, soon we will be forced over. |

In this case, Namecheap broke the functionality of their site by trying to fix something that wasn't broken. |

+1 hater of new design...
|
I like the lighter brighter and bigger look.
But the login box gone from main page sucks. And I was getting errors earlier aswell. |
I always use namecheap because of the simple pre-go-daddy-more-gloss-than-floss designs out there.
Oh well, knew it wouldn't last. Any useful service on the internet... don't ever count on it. |
yes i am also not a great fan of their buggy design!
|
The NameCheap Marketplace changes broke all my links to existing sales.
And you know what else? The new design does not expose "adult" domains (anything you checked the adult box on when listing for sale) at all. There's no longer a checkbox to allow searching for adult domains, and they don't show up in any searches or listings. They are completely invisible, and apparently unavailable for sale. I submitted a support ticket first thing this morning, they forwarded it to their engineering department, then no response. It's staying busted apparently. |
I own namecheapsux.com
Might set up a forum... but nothing too drastic, I registered it at namecheap! |
Mail problem is the new design is slow, possibly different database used?
Also why did they drop the frontpage login form? |
yea i hate it too :(
|
old was best, simple.

You can use http://classic.namecheap.com if you want to avoid the shitty new design that's full of bugs.
|
I'll admit I use godaddy...
Even though their interface is HORRID... And the chicks they pick for hundred million dollar superbowl commercial spots are equally horrid. I mean WTF... The company is either run by women or gay men Danica Patrick is the only one I have been able to look at for more than a glance |
