I left Cali more than four years ago, and less than 90 days after they were threatening a tax lien due to a parking ticket in the city of burbank on a vehicle I sold. Even the chick on the phone didn't understand it, but told me too bad.

Imagine one day, in your 'hood, all the billboards are in spanish. Then, all the coupons you get in the mail are only in spanish. It was like the Twilight Zone or something. And then one day you wake up, and go outside to get your burrito across the street, and the Mexican restaurant you eat at every single day even on xmas cause they never close is closed. And then you remember, oh yeah, it's a "day without Mexicans." And you really didn't think they would close and deny you your burrito. After that, things were never the same and I felt treated differently and everything. I didn't care much up until then. It was bizarre.

That is what I used to think, and how most Californians think. Most of them have never lived anywhere, just like the majority of the US hasn't lived in California.
