These insane Chinese f*ckers were going to town on my server- overwhelmed Pennywise and iProt with a gazillion proxy attacks. Switched to a program called Trackman, cut my bandwidth almost in half.

Another good one is StrongBox which blocks spoofers as well. You can email Ray at [email protected] to find out more.

Password Sentry is a pretty good script. Easy to setup and manage and it is pretty cheap.

ya, where is that prog kiko? And they took down pennywise? I thought they were immune to that.

If you just need some basic brute force protection there are a lot of basic scripts out there- if you have a REALLY serous attack problem or users with a tendency to share passwords (Asians) Trackman is the way to go.
