I have 2 rows of them. Only the ones that I use the most. Then the programs are in the start menu.

Yes...and I have 30 in monitors set at 2560x1920.

I rarely put icons on my desktop so no, I never have this problem.

4 columns of 8 rows of icons. I just started the 5th column the other day. I try to keep shit clean but I am not very good about keeping my icon problem under control.

Yes, it happens to me once every 2-3 months. And then I do a full cleanup...
