As an affiliate there's little you can do to change the trend of less people buying. That ball lies entirely in the court of sponsors.

All I know is from posting samples and full length videos on Tubes the traffic stunk. Was hardly worth my time.

We did have AEBN as an affiliate with their Tube site, they had a link under some porn scenes of ours. It said "See more of Paul Markham Teens videos." The traffic was awesome. Except the moment they found they were on a paysite they clicked right back. :(

Sausage had a Tube and we were the top voted and viewed scene on it with a banner next to the scene. Never got a sign up.

Affiliates actually have it pretty good if they are smart. All you need to do is ensure that you can quickly and easily swap out links and content of a sponsor who is not performing. Then you use someone else who converts and keeps their shit off PornBB. It's far easier for an affiliate to walk away from a program or even an entire niche than it is for the average sponsor.

CTR, yes I agree with that. Part of that is the trend towards large urls on the videos (pay sites). Another part is ad blockers and then there is good old fashioned surfer disinterest.

To be honest, i think its 50/50. But its hard for people to hear the word "tube" without thinking "ah another guy around that slapped on a tubescript with full free videos".

Its impossible to give any accurate stats just like that. It depends on the kind of tube, the traffic it gets, how it is targetted, how well the adcampaigns are optimized, etc etc.

Ive seen people slap on the same banner on every page of their general niched site. Even the tiniest optimization can work miracles. Why show a teen banner on every page of a site, when someone is clearly interested in milf.. and i can go on and on :winkwink:
