With Apple mackbooks pro being pretty affordable these days I dont understand why people still buy PC laptops.

I have that too, and cant get rid off it, it's fucking too noisy!

Mine is very quiet. What I don't like is the case, it gets scratched too easily. Also the display - too much glare and the viewing angle is too small. Specs could be better for such a price too... Other than that it seems reliable.

i'm not a fan of acer.

May be its my video card i dunno, but its really noisy. it's a 15"4 inches.

I have a few acers, have cam girls working on them too. Great machines, decent price. I've had less problems with my acers than any other system / computer I've ever had.

Did you get the i7 processor? Thats what I want on my next one.

Because they don't like getting their thighs fried? I have a MacBook Pro and when it gets cold here in winter, I just turn it on, flip it upside down and it heats the whole room :1orglaugh

And I'd think twice before selling your Vaio. I had a high end Dell XPS that I paid near 2 grand for, sold it a year later and was lucky to get $600. Others on Craigs List give those things away like candy.

(I actually don't know who gives away candy, but you know what I mean!)

for surfing it's fine. So gaming anything heavy video stuff it would not be so good. One thing that keeps from from abandoning a desktop for a laptop is that you can't upgrade the graphics.

with that specs I can use photoshop? I want surfing and make galleries etc... for mobile work but simple work

Should be fine. I wouldn't edit HD video on that thing. You could , itmight take awhile.

edit hd video no... ;) only simple works... office, photoshop, html, surfing and of course playing poker! everywhere I am !

I got an Acer 8735G, so far so good its a gaming laptop with a lot of cool features, but sound is sooooo low!!.. do you have the same problem?

it seems to be a common problem with acers, not a problem if you have external speakers, the problem is that im always on the move and cant have external speakers, if you do the same i recommend you to use "SRS audio sandbox" this will definetly improve your sound, other than that you will love your acer
